These Terms of Service govern your use of the TranscribeAny website and transcription service. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. About TranscribeAny

TranscribeAny provides an online platform that converts audio and video recordings into text, including speaker labels, timestamps, translations, summaries, and export formats. The service is provided by TranscribeAny (the seller). These terms are a contract between you and the seller.

2. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for any unlawful purpose, to transmit spam or malware, to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, to attempt to gain unauthorised access, to reverse engineer or scrape the service, or to interfere with its operation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Intellectual property

TranscribeAny owns the service, its software, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual property. You retain ownership of the recordings and content you upload. We do not claim ownership of your transcripts, but we need your permission to host, process, and display them solely to provide the service.

5. Payments, subscriptions and Paddle

Paid plans are billed through Paddle, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payments, billing, tax, invoicing, subscription management, and customer service inquiries related to orders. By placing an order, you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can change plans or cancel from your billing settings. Upgrades and downgrades may be prorated.

6. Refund policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your order date. Refunds are processed by Paddle. To request a refund, visit paddle.net or contact our support team.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately.

8. Service level and warranties

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate. Transcription quality depends on audio clarity, accents, terminology, and other factors. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the seller's aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, data, or goodwill, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the seller is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Continued use after the changes become effective means you accept the revised terms.
